the landing is on the Horace Walker Glacier to the west, but i agree with you. Intend to go back and do the walkin to biv above waterfall, day 2 to summit and back to biv, day 3 out.The flyin did buy us a day of good weather and allowed us to climb Thompson before the weather packed in; but agree with you...Sefton from the West in good style, is a quick light ascent from the coast.

i will post the day 3 out movie and you can decide for yourself - you will enjoy scotts creek, it has a great "big country" feel to it
